Fast & Furious 5

FF5 feels so much broader than FF4. There are so many characters but all the main ones feel really fleshed out. And you just have to like them. Out of all of them, I fell for Han and Giselle the hardest. Such a cool, cool couple. You know, I wish there were more awesome power couples like them in movies.

But the best thing? The sense of family in this movie. Usually, in movies like this, it's all talk and little show. Here, it's little talk and all show. You actually get why these people stick together, why they like and trust each other. And it's wonderful. Truly, truly wonderful. And again, this is a franchise built on fast, loud cars! And yet, some writers could learn a lot from the way these movies are written.

Also, them taking out a bank with a bouncing vault will never NOT be funny, LOL!

And I'm all set up to see FF6 tomorrow. Go me!
