You know, I don't expect action movies to be deep, dramatic master pieces. They rarely reap awards. But next to xXx even a puddle seems deep. Dumb dialog, terrible acting, cartoonish villains... And when you consider the movie stars actors such as Marton Csokas and Samuel L. Jackson. Jackson! And I cringed at his acting!

And I never realized just how bad an actor Vin Diesel used to be. I guess it really did him a world of good that his career went belly up after this and The Pacifier - he felt he was too big a star to be in FF2 or xXx 2, only to see all his movies flop big time and to go back to his roots once more - I guess it knocked some of the arrogance and hauteur out of him. I mean, he will never win an Oscar for his acting but his return to FF in #4 showed that he did grow as actor.

So, to sum it up: Bad movie, ridiculous, predictable plot, horrible acting. The only good thing about it were the action sequences. But overall? It's not worth the price of the DVD it's stored on. Sheesh!
