NCIS 1013, NCIS:LA 413

NCIS:
- This episode was quite boring, especially the case. I hoped for a twist at the end.
- Abby's storyline was interesting as far as her character development goes and pretty much in line with her issues these past several seasons but I wasn't really enamored with it.
- And Tony... Why so dumb again? I love it when Tony's funny but this was simply too stupid. I hate it when he behaves like a frat boy, too much like his father's sleazy, immature Lothario schtick.

NCIS:LA:
- Ah, some much needed "Callen in peril" stuff! We haven't had that in quite a while. Nice! And Sam to the rescue of course.
- I really like that Sam isn't just the dumb muscle, the way most tall and muscled black men are portrayed in TV shows. I love his smarts, his experience, his knowledge... Too bad more characters of color aren't written that way.
- THE FISHES! That was hilarious. Gosh, I hope Hetty keeps the tank!

This week, NCIS:LA was definitely better. For the fishes alone! LOL!

I hope we get more Callen centric stuff soon. I mean, the first two seasons were all about his family and whatnot and now they dropped it entirely. With so many loose ends. Why does it have to be either - or, why can't everybody have an arc of his own? :(

Though I wonder what was the thing about Deeks. You know, that one episode with Granger, where Deeks disappeared? They made it sound like Granger used him for something top secret, he wasn't in court as the team was told. I hope they don't drop that too.
