Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen won't be together just in the upcoming XM:DOFP as Charles and Erik respectively, they are set to appear in two Broadway plays together, as Deadline reports, No Man's Land and Waiting For Godot (in which they starred together in 2009 already).

I adore their friendship. It's one of the sweetest things I've ever seen and I don't even know why. Just... the way they light up when they talk about each other. It's not a flashy friendship that tabloids drag through dirt and whatnot. It's... I feel happy just knowing these two are good friends and have been for almost 40 years now. Lovely, so very, very lovely *happy sigh*
