2012 is dead, long live 2013!

katikatA new year's here, peeps! And with it a new calendar. This time, I chose Gothic Alchemy to grace my wall with, a lovely thing...
Regarding my New Year's resolutions, I have only 2:
a) fandom-related: To be more open-minded and less negative. I promised myself not to bash anything and anyone once already - and then I went and started bitching about H50 and Elementary. Looking back, I feel really disappointed in myself. So much negativity is not good for the soul! I mean, it's fine not to like something. But to rage against it time and time again? No. Never again. Hopefully, I'll do better this year.
b) work-related: To doodle and procrastinate less and to focus more. I work from home so I need to discipline myself and I was starting to stray a lot during the last months of 2012. Not good. Not good at all!
Also, I started this year with a new mood theme that I made myself. This time, I didn't choose any specific fandom, just my favorite actors and characters and their coolest pics and turned them into a mood theme. I like it! I also hoped to get a new layout but the one I liked wasn't for free. Oh well. Also, I plan to overhaul most of my - if not all - icons. Bit by bit, of course, since I make them myself. And I started with Jennifer Lawrence *points*
