Rocknrolla was awesome! And I can't even say why. It's not like it was action-filled or suspenseful... I think it was the characters - and the actors! I mean, Gerard Butler, Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Mark Strong, Karel Roden (yay for Czech actors!), Tobby Kebbell, Ludacris, Gemma Arterton... \o/

My favorite bits were those with Handsome Bob. Tom Hardy made him so incredibly lovable. I loved that Mumbles didn't care one iota that Bob was gay - and in the end, even One Two got used to it and they were able to joke about it. I wonder if Bob and Bertie did have drinks in the end - I loved how smitten Bertie was with Bob, that was sweet.

Another character that was really, really awesome and truly stood out for me was Archy. Mark Strong was so good. And I think he actually liked Johnny and hated to see what he turned into. And I loved the bit when Bob gave him the papers and Archy realized who the snitch was. The revenge he took was poetic justice!

Though I have to wonder, did Uri actually kill Stella? I think so. He finally understood that it was she who was stealing his money and she had the painting too. I think he really killed her. Well, she pretty much deserved it, to be honest. She did steal 14 million Euro from him.

So yeah, I can't exactly say why I liked the movie so much but I really, really did.

Oh yeah... one of my favorite movies. I loved the chase scene!! And Bob - that scene where he confessed. I cried!! And I never cry over movies!

Guy Ritchie made one excellent film!

I just loved, loved the scene on the couch with Bertie. When Bob simply climbed over the back of it and slid down and Bertie just stared...
