katikatI finally watched all the production vids. I plan to go and see the movie next Saturday, so it was time!

My favorite is still #8, the one where Orlando Bloom appears in Legolas' full battle gear. It's also the one with Lee Pace. And Andy Serkis playing sax. Also, Richard Armitage has such a beautiful voice, just listening to him singing "Misty Mountain Cold" gives me the shivers! Oh my, I can't wait to see the movie! I haven't been this excited about a film since... The Avengers, I think.
Also, I loved this tidbit about Peter Jackson's panic over Martin Freeman's availability for The Hobbit: link. LOL'd at this:

"Martin was the only person that we wanted for that role, and that was really before we met Martin," Jackson told reporters in New York on Wednesday.
"We knew him from The Office and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and we just felt he had qualities that would be perfect for Bilbo. The stuffy repressed English quality. He's a dramatic actor, he's not a comedian, but he has a talent for comedy."
However, he said he began having "sleepless nights" over signing Freeman up for the role, after the actor was originally unavailable due to Sherlock filming.
"We were in trouble. I was really panicking," he said. "I was having sleepless nights. We were probably six weeks away from the beginning of the shoot, and we hadn't settled on anyone else, and I was torturing myself by watching Sherlock on an iPad at 4 o'clock in the morning."
