Cancellations and other things

Fairly Legal was canceled by the USA Network: link. See me shedding no tears. I tried watching it but Kate must have been one of the most obnoxious, childish, arrogant, smug, bitchy characters I've ever seen on TV. I wanted to slap her every time she opened her mouth. I dropped it after one episode and never returned to it. And from what I've heard, she got even WORSE during S2. Wow, I didn't think that was even possible.
Also, Brendan Fraser won't star in Legends after all: link. He and the execs didn't agree on where his character should be headed and so they split amicably. And now my interest in the show dropped to zero again. This show sounds rather derivative so it'll stand or fall with the actor playing the lead. If they don't cast someone I like, I probably won't even give it a try. Eh.
Deadline.com also reports that Burn Notice is nearing a 13 ep long S7 pick-up. I hope they give it a good ending and wrap it up. It was reported in the past that the actor playing the lead wanted out anyway - correct me if I'm wrong - and I don't like shows that keep actors against their will or replace them - see The X-Files.
