katikatTVLine posted a so-called "Post Mortem" - link - in which they talked to White Collar's Jeff Eastin about the mid-season finale reveal and Peter's reaction to it. I loved, LOVEDLOVEDLOVED that part!
Awwwwwww! I love it! I love it when the show portrays Peter as Neal's "dad", it's so incredibly sweet. I hope for a meaningful scene between Peter and Sam in which Peter warns Sam not to hurt Neal or else. Please, please, please?
“In a lot of ways, Peter is a surrogate dad [to Neal],” explains Eastin. “Now that real dad is on the scene, some of those issues start to come out – not just for Neal, but for Peter, also. On Peter’s side, there’s a little bit of, I wouldn’t call it jealousy, but almost concern. It’s sort of like Neal is his adopted son, and the birth father shows up and is taking him back.”
