Bah humbug!

I'm thrilled that there will be 3 Hobbit movies. I'm over the moon! I can't wait to see them and I hope we get more Legolas and at least a scene or two with him and Thranduil. The movies will be called: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: There and Back Again. Source.
But! And that's where the "bah humbug" thing comes in...
The Hobbit: There and Back Again will be released on July 18 2014. So? It's the same FRICKIN' day X-Men: Days of Future Past comes out! What a shitty move, WB. The rest of the month is completely free so far and they put their movie against the XMFC sequel. X-Men will be pummeled, stomped on and ground to dust! Even if Fox moves it back or forth a week, it'll be still flattened like a pancake by The Hobbit.
Darn it all to hell and back. I want X-Men to do well. I always want my favorite actors to do well at the cinema. The way Premium Rush is getting pummeled right now is depressing. It has great reviews, 10% better than Lawless, yet it's flopping because Sony kept changing its release date and did almost no marketing for it. If Looper ends up the same way, I might throw a tantrum.
