katikatABC greenlit a live-action Marvel series called S.H.I.E.L.D., set in the same universe as the whole Avengers franchise! The pilot will be written and possibly even directed by Joss Whedon himself! What he said about it:
It's too bad that Cobie Smulders is tied to HIMYM on CBS, I would have loved to see her as the main character, Maria Hill. Still - isn't it just SO COOL!?
