katikatYou know, these two episodes weren't exactly... exciting but they were so incredibly sweet and good! This, exactly THIS kind of relationship between Peter and Neal I was missing during S3!
When Peter admitted that he wanted to help Neal, that he wanted to protect him and bring him back because he felt guilty since it was he who brought in Kramer... Aww! Peter wanted Neal back and Neal wanted Peter back and they were both willing to go to great lengths to keep the other safe. This is why I love the show. Exactly this! It's no fun for either of them if they do stuff alone, they want to do it together! I mean, they had at least lunch together if they couldn't work together!
When Peter realized that Neal grew up in witness protection. Peter's expression! His reluctance to ask who Neal's father killed... And so much continuity! That's why Peter couldn't find out anything about Neal till his 18th birthday. That's why Neal never finished high school. So good!
And Neal and Mozzie! I loved it when Mozzie asked Peter to make sure the bureau didn't screw Neal over because Neal trusted Peter. And then Mozzie came back and just... their expressions, Neal's and Mozzie's, when they met again. That was so beautiful...
I'm so happy with the show right now, I wish I could roll in the pretty! The last time I was this happy with WhiCo was back then, during S2. It's beautiful and it's making me so happy right now!
