Just Like Heaven
Jun. 3rd, 2012 11:48 pmAfter I saw The Avengers, I decided to check out some of the movies Mark Ruffalo starred in because I really liked his Hulk/Bruce Banner. And my cousin rec'd me...

Just Like Heaven
It's a romantic comedy about a widowed garden architect, David, who rents an apartment, ghost of the previous tenant included. And hijinks ensue. I felt so sad for both him and Elizabeth. The scene on the roof, where he talked about his dead wife with so much love... I felt all sniffly. And then the scene at the hospital, when he realized she didn't remember him - gosh, yeah, I cried a bit. My heart hurt so much for him...
The funniest part? Just before David found the apartment, when the flyer got stuck on his thigh - and he threw it away. And it came back and got stuck on his thigh again - and he threw it away again. And it came back and slapped him in the face. LOL! Talk about persistence.
It's a very funny movie, but also really sad in places and you want to hug them both... If you are in the mood for romantic sweetness, give it a go. It's lovely.
