On Monday, I spent the evening watching Sukisyo. Yesterday, I watched 8 eps of Gankutsuou - and cried like a baby, really. The ending actually forced a HET plot bunny on me! O.O And in between Tsubasa Chronicle - *squee* Yukito and Touya, the high priest and the king setting offers lotsa quite slashy possibilities, right? ;) And of course My HiME! I love this series. Even though there are no yaoi vibes in it, it just tickled my h/c bone, really. :) I especially love the Akira/Takumi pairing. They are so incredibly cute together :D Great, ju~ust great!

Um...have no idea about the ones you just mentioned but I had to tell you I finally saw Kan-chan! He is every bit as adorable as your icon! *huggles him* When I saw that scene last night, I was like, 'Katikat's icon!'. Now the grown up Kan-chan is huggable too, but in an entirely different way, ne? and don't even get me started on Haruka! *drools*

Um...that's it. ^^; Just saw your post and the icon reminded me that I wanted to tell you...that... Okay, I'll shut up now. ^^

Kan-chan is overall a rather huggable being, huh? I feel so sorry for him especially when you realize how sad his childhood was. Haruka-chan is the only being - besides Youko-chan, that is - that he has left in the world. I love that it is shown in the later eps that he actually can't live without him, that should Haruka leave him for good, he would probably die of loneliness.

And about the other animes. You don't watch Sukisyo? O.O That leaves me speechless :D A true shounen-ai series. And Gankutsuou? Aka The Count of Monte Christo? That's a really really sad series. Nobody actually ends up being truly happy because they simply lose to much. And My HiME? A series full of het pairing I actually adore! It's a wonderful mix of humor and sadness, romance and action. There is nobody who would be truly evil and that's why it is so sad. But - shh, I will tell you a secret - it does have a happy end. I took a peek! ;P

*LOL* I'm scribbling down names like you wouldn't believe! On the Count...I don't do sad very well, I heard from another friend that Franz pines a lot for Albert? Unrequited loves give me heartburn. ^^;

But Sukisyo and Hime sound fun! I will chek them out, no da!!

I only saw up to episode 8 of Tactics and already saw several intense moments between the two. ^____^ Am very anxious to see the rest. Sugino-sama, I have to say, is my favorite! *laughs* he's so CUTE! He's so much like Souji from Peace Maker, it's hard not to love him. ^___^

BTW - do you like Card Captor Sakura? I think it was you with who I spoke about this series, wasn't it? If it so, then you will like the new CLAMP series Tsubasa Chronicle. It has the characters reincarnated. There is Sakura as the princess, Syaoran as the archeologist, Touya as the king and Yukito as his high priest. It concentrates on Sakura and Syaoran, so Touya and Yukito won't be there much, but to be honest, just this premise is enough for me. I mean - can you see the plot bunnies hopping around? The king and his high priest? That's like taken from some slashy AU fic :D And the good news is that there is only one episode subbed so far since it's a new series so you wouldn't need to catch up with many eps :D

In fact, CCS is one fandom I couldn't really get into! *laughs* At the time, when it first came out, I thought it was awfully juvenile. It reminded me of Pokemon for some reason. Were the characters very young? Maybe that was it... Besides, I was totally into DBZ then and kick-ass Vegeta dominated my time. ^___^

But now look at my obsession with PoT? *laughs* Hentai, no da!

Gomen, gomen *embarassing moment* I'm not sure why but I fell completely in love with this series. It's cute and heartwarming and not too much about Sakura and her powers and stuff. I love the fact that it's more about her, her family and friends and stuff. It just gives me this warm and fuzzy feeling, you know?

But I really can't stand DBZ. It's probably the animation. It's just too... well... too much testosteron :D

I love CCS. Have you seen the series? Touya and Yukito are all through it and they're very squee. Plus, it's just a very cute anime.

I've been reading Tsubasa, but haven't seen it yet.

I love it! LOVE IT!!! I saw only couple of eps, but my friend is downloading the whole series via emule for me right now! :D

I loved the fact that it doesn't focus too much on her fighting with the cards and stuff (like for example Sailor Moon did), but that it's more family related. Sakura, her family, friends, TouyaxYukito, SakuraxSyaron. I actually really loved Syaoran and I felt so sorry for the boy. He needed a big and strong huggle! :D

Tsubasa isn't as nicely drawn as CCS was. It wouldn't bother me - if it wasn't for Yukito and Touya. But maybe it's just because I really liked how they were drawn in CCS. But the king/high priest gives me lotsa plot bunnies :D

I think it's not only very well done in terms of character design, etc., but the writing is good, too. You'll have to let me know what you think when you've finished it. ^_^

To be honest, I cheated and download the last five or so eps :D I really love the Toya/Yuki pairing. Toya cares so much for Yuki... and Yuki is so adorable :D

Exactly! They simply belong together. I read one original fic written by... err... I don't remember her name right now, where the king fell in love with his high priest. They knew each other since they were kids and now they started to have feelings for each other. But the high priest was murdered and the king's childhood friend became the new high priest. And now, to be able to perform magic, he had to stay virgin >.< Too bad that she stopped writing it then :(

And thank you for your praise. I like the new layout better than the old one too. The pics are from the HaruToki ovas. It has much sharper and clearer colors than the series.

And another ToyaxYuki lover! *tackleglomps* They are simply the bests! :D
