318: I liked the parallels between the Vietnamese boy's family and Callen's. Callen's expression when the guy explained how happy he was to be reunited with his family... And Hetty! Loved the scene where she talked to Callen about her first assignment in Vietnam.
319: I got Sam's point, I really did, but Callen was also right - these men caused the vic's death, no matter how unintentionally. It might not have been murder, but it was still manslaughter. What I really loved was how Deeks got the car to himself and how happy he was that it "works every time". BTW, he has a nice voice!
I have to wonder what Erik's purpose is in this show. I mean, all that he knows? Nell knows better. He's clumsy, he is not field savvy and he has no special skills. I could understand it if he was the software guy and Nell the hardware girl but that's not it either. So, what's his purpose besides being the butt of Hetty's jokes?
And is it just me or are Sam and Callen growing apart slowly? More and more often their varied backgrounds show, causing a disagreement. And even though they still have each other's back, their relationship feels... strained. Like they're keeping it together through sheer force of will sometimes. Sam has a family, he has roots, he's a team player. Callen is an orphan with no anchor and trust issues. And it's starting to feel like Callen's issues are becoming a burden for Sam...
