The Robinsons 1+2
Mar. 15th, 2012 10:09 pmWatching the British comedy show The Robinsons with Martin Freeman playing the main part of Edward Robinson from whose POV the show is told. It's a 6 part series with 29 min. long episodes. It's about a completely normal family, just a bit nutty. The parents argue about everything, the eldest son is all about organization, the daughter is a perfectionist and Edward, the youngest son... Well, he is plain. In every way possible. He's an insurance agent, divorced, with no friends, no special interests or abilities and when his family is asked to describe him they... draw blank.

But Edward is also the only normal person in the whole family! And his reactions to his family's craziness is what makes this show funny. Not really hilarious, you don't laugh out loud, like for example while watching Fortysomething, but it's still a funny show. Because you can see yourself in these people!
My favorite quote so far:
LOL! I mean, George - the eldest son - just lost his godfather, which is sad, but he's going through an album full of photographs of BEES!

My favorite quote so far:
George: A bee... and another bee... and another bee... and two bees together... and another bee... and another bee...
George's wife: O_o
