Sherlock Holmes: The Norwood Builder

This was a really good episode for some nice Holmes&Watson interaction. One thing I missed, as compared to what happened in the short story, was Holmes' secret buy-out of Watson's practice so that Watson would move back in with him to Baker Street. In the original canon, this story takes place directly after "The Empty House", the story in which Holmes returns from the dead. But because here it was taken out of context, this tidbit was dropped. Which is a shame because I just adored the part - it showed just how far Holmes was willing to go to get Watson back.
I laughed when Holmes complained about London being too honest, no criminals causing mischief which meant he had nothing to do. Gosh, Holmes, you're sich a diva sometimes. His affected gestures and outrageous sighs... LOL!
And then, a case! A man wanted for murder! And Holmes' reaction?

A breathy, ecstatic "Dear me!"

And Watson's "Restrain yourself, Holmes!" face :P
And of course, when you explain something to your friend, it's necessary to...

... Drape yourself all over him like a content cat or...

... Stand as close as possible - Sherlock Holmes: no sense of personal space!
I also adored the scene where Holmes sat in his armchair, only in his nightshirt and a dressing gown, hair in disarray, all distressed because it looked like Lestrade would win this time. And Watson came in and crouched down in front of him to convince him to eat something! Aww... They are just so incredibly sweet together!

Holmes: It is Lestrade's cock-a-doodle of victory.
