katikatI love this show and it's really funny but honestly? As down to earth as Penny is, personally, I have much more in common with the "nerds" than with the girl - and that despite my being a girl myself. Seriously, all she cares about is clothes and shagging - and her non-existent career as an actress. I mean, she has the IQ of a wilted cucumber. And being a nerd myself, I quite don't like the way she puts down the things they're passionate about - sure, they overdo it more often than not, but her open disdain feels rather hurtful. A look at this early!Penny made me realize just why exactly I prefer Amy Farrah Fowler over any other girl in this show.
But Sheldon is still rocking awesome when it comes to his quotables:
Best episode? The one with Sheldon's imaginary drug addicted first cousin Leo. That one was priceless!
Still, I seem to enjoy the show more now, in its current state than in its early stages. Curious.

Oh please, if influenza was only contagious after symptoms appear, it would have died out thousands of years ago. Somewhere between tool using and cave painting, Homo habilis would have figured out to kill the guy with the runny nose.
