katikatWell, that wasn't as bad as I feared...
... But I still don't like shipping episodes, so *shrugs*
I'm glad that we are finally over the Lancelot/Guinevere betrayal part of the story. I felt bad for all of them, Gwen, Lancelot and Arthur. But I loved how Arthur handled the situation, that he banished her - yet he felt so, so sorry doing it. He didn't do it in anger, with hate. Even feeling betrayed he didn't want to see Gwen hurt. And even Lancelot got a proper burial.
I wonder if the reveal of Merlin's powers will follow the same muster - Arthur feeling betrayed, banishing Merlin. I fear so...
I literally had tears in my eyes during the last scene, when Merlin released Lancelot's soul and Lancelot thanked him. The atmosphere, the music, Merlin's tears... Incredibly sad.
Next week's ep looks awesome! Only 4 eps to go in S4.
