First of all, yeah, the hostage leaving the bank, that was a pretty obvious ploy, but interesting was what was behind it. And I didn't expect the guy to actually blow up his partners, sheesh!
And Castle was awesome! And Martha too! And Beckett too! And I loved Beckett's expression when she cut Castle loose! And then the dinner! \o/
The only thing I didn't care much about was Alexis and Ashley. I mean, I get why she broke up with him - seriously, when your level-headed g-friend calls you in tears, you get the heck on the phone and find out what's wrong, not this "I call you later" crap. Still... Eh, didn't care much about that subplot.
This show's making me so happy! Castle and Beckett, my favorite TV "couple" at the moment! \o/
