The Three Musketeers

The Three Musketeers were seen and thoroughly enjoyed by yours truly. Who expects yet another version that tries to stay as faithful to Dumas' work as possible - yet fails - will be disappointed. Who expects a very loose adaptation, an over the top action comedy with airships, ninja!musketeers and bad fashion, will be satisfied.

My favorite character? Aramis, I just adored his introduction, very... "Assassin's Creed" - you'll get what I mean when you see it :P

My favorite scene? At the very beginning, before d'Artagnan is introduced, the Da Vinci vault!

The scene steeler? Orlando Bloom. He was a hoot. You see how much he enjoys being the bad boy!

The weak link? The actor playing d'Artagnan. Yeah, sweet looking kid but too... bland. The others constantly overshadowed him.

Best "they changed it!" part? Besides the airships? The fact that Constance survived!

So, definitely not thumbs-down from me. I enjoyed myself very, very much! Sure, there were things I would've changed - it needed more musketeer!bonding, that's true - but good stuff nonetheless.
