Fringe 401+402

So, Fringe is on a mini-hiatus - no new episode this week - so I decided to catch up on it.
Ah, Joe Flanigan in ep 401. That was a really small part. But I liked him and his family. And his friendship with Linc. And John Pyper-Ferguson in ep 402. I hope our professor doesn't turn into a killer after all, that would be sad.
It's strange to see how many things changed. And it's sometimes hard to keep straight what WAS true and what IS true now - like Olivia killing her step-father. It was great, seeing Fauxlivia's expression when Olivia told her in such a matter of fact voice, "Oh, I killed him." And it's interesting getting to know THESE characters, they are completely different, it's like a... like a reboot of a kind.
At the same time, it feels like it lost a bit of... something. I hope it's just Peter missing that the show feels... off. Not bad, it's still good and pretty much better than 95% of other shows out there at the moment, but it's lacking... something.
2 eps to go and I'm caught up!
