What a funny movie. Admittedly, I watched it - and bought it - because of Karl Urban playing William Cooper who's set on the trail of Bruce Willis' Frank Moore and his merry band of REDs. Seriously, the best parts of the film were the scenes that Cooper and Frank had together. Oh, don't get me wrong, Helen Mirren was terrific as Victoria and the romance between Frank and Sarah was hilarious but Frank and Cooper... Wow, that was intense.
My favorite scene was the one in the warehouse, when Cooper had to choose sides and he chose Frank's, when he cuffed Frank but gave him the key and then he told her boss "Fuck you, Cynthia" and shot her. LOL! And then he called Frank "grandpa", just to rub it in :P
If there is a sequel, I hope Karl Urban's in it again because regardless of the plethora of stars, it was he who made the movie for me! No Karl, no sequel for me...
Also, I would love to read some fics, gen ones, where Cooper lands himself in a heap of trouble and Frank and Co. have to save his butt. That would be awesome... *_*
