This was a re-read for me. The first time I read it, I gave it 3 stars only. Now though, I bumped it up to 4 because I found it much more intriguing the 2nd time around, don't ask me why. Konowa and his choices, Konowa's parents, the Shadow Monarch, Duke Rakestraw, Visyna, the Iron Elves... I definitely want to know what will happen to all of them next!
