katikatThis is a de-friending amnesty, peeps. I know that I met a lot of you through Supernatural or White Collar and my interests changed a lot since then, especially in the last few days/weeks. So, if you feel like we have nothing to say to each other anymore but you feel uncomfortable de-friending me - I know I usually do - here's your "Get Out of Jail Free" card.
* I still love and adore SPN and I'm sad and disappointed and irritated that so many people feel the need to drag it through the mud lately. If you are among them, you can be sure I skip 99% of your SPN-related entries because I really don't need the stress.
* I decided to detach myself from the WhiCo fandom completely. Yesterday, I realized just how many mean-spirited people there are in this fandom, people who find it okay to attack the writers on Twitter etc. No, just no. I left all the comms I belonged to and I don't see myself reading or writing fics in this fandom in any foreseeable future. I still like the show but it's just lacking the necessary "umf" for me these days.
* My main fandoms these days are Star Trek: Reboot and X-Men: First Class. I'm smitten with both and I hope to stay attached to them for some time to come. If you have no interest in my squeeing about Karl Urban's grumpy Georgian doctor or James McAvoy's blue-blue eyes, this is no place for you, fair warning.
* Things I plan to watch ASAP: Dune, Children of Dune, State of Play and Alphas, should the series prove to be interesting.

ETA: I've cut a good 25% of my flist. I didn't do it because I hate you, you didn't do anything to me, it's not a way to get back at you, nothing like that.
