I think I'm a little bit in love with James McAvoy

I love him as Charles Xavier, he's... Man, you can literally feel how much he's enjoying himself. And after reading this article that yami_tai linked me to, I... I want to smooch him silly, for real!

McAvoy and Irishman Fassbender (...) have known each other since working on Band Of Brothers in 2000, so their First Class double act sprang to life quickly.

"When we met up to talk about doing this, we both agreed there's no point in making these big, silly pieces of fun unless you can enjoy it, too," McAvoy says.

"As hard as it was at times - because these things are very hard to make, they are a storm happening all around you every day for six months - we made a pact to try to make each other laugh as much as possible."

In a fab montage, the pair go on a recruiting drive, in which they perch on a strip-club bed.

"That scene got exceptionally silly at one point," says McAvoy. "I don't know if I'm even allowed to tell you what originally happened. But it got pretty f---in' kinky. I'm not joking."

Was the dashing duo's bromance, uh, consummated?

"Unfortunately no. But there was a little bit of cross-dressing going on. That's all you need to know."

(For the record, McAvoy would have preferred it if Xavier and Magneto stayed together. Like, really together. "It is a little bit of a mini-tragedy that him and Magneto don't, you know, have sex and become married and become best friends.")

\o/ Seriously. Those two, McAvoy and Fassbender, must have had a blast together. And it really shines through in every scene they have together. Their chemistry is off the charts and I think I'm a little bit in love with James McAvoy for actually shipping Charles and Erik - I mean, when even the actor sees it, who am I to argue with him, right? ;)

I think I read somewhere that after Angel shows them her wings she asks Charles what he can do and he makes her believe Erik is a transvestite. :D

Me too! He blew me away as Charles. And then I had to get my hands on everything he was in - excluding movies where he dies. My heart would break :'(

Becoming Jane is ok, not great. He doesn't die tho.
Foyle's War is very good, not a lot of James but he doesn't die and he's pretty much a scene stealer the whole time *LOL*

I'm still catching up on a lot of his stuff, I have S1 of Shameless, just haven't got around to it yet :O

I had to laugh when he joked about how his characters die a lot, the poor thing. I got my hands on almost everything James was in, except for The Last King of Scottland and Atonement - I couldn't handle these two - and Shameless. Have to get to that one too.
