katikat | Fic rec: X-Men: First Class

1stclass_kink is devouring my life, seriously! So many awesome fics. I decided to rec some here, mostly for my own purposes, though - it's really hard to bookmark a multi-parter comment fic. So, I'll be linking all parts in one entry in my own LJ and then bookmarking it in my delicious account, it'll be easier that way - I think...

Let's start with...

"Fear Death by Water" by anon | Charles/Erik | Hank screws up. Charles and Erik get hot for each other. | Parts: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 | Status: completed

"Always the optimist." Erik's hair is still damp, like Charles' own, though he's combed it back into his usual style. A few stray strands curve over the shell of Erik's ear and when Charles takes a breath he realizes he can smell him, a mixture of soap and humidity and cologne.

"You say that like it's an affliction," Charles says, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I prefer to be pleasantly surprised on occasion rather than disappointed consistently," Erik says.

What a delightful fic! Humorous and hot and Charles and Erik's banter is spot on!
