Went to see Thor - and LOVED it! If you go see it too, watch it in 3D. It was visually stunning, especially since a big part of the movie took place on Thor's planet and/or on the planet of the ice giants. Wow. Simply wow!
And Chris Hemsworth. Man, what a gorgeous man. With his blond hair and blue-blue eyes and that amazing smile he reminded me of Chris Pine. A lot, actually. I think he was perfect for this role. He was funny when he needed to be and all intense and kick-assy when there was need for that.
I liked the way Thor matured and grew throughout the movie. From a spoiled, hot-headed brat he turned into a compassionate man who sacrificed what he treasured for the sake of the universe. That was beautiful.
I liked the love-at-first sight between Jane and Thor. And I loved that she was determined to find him when he didn't, couldn't return - and Thor's little smile when Heimdall told him that Jane was trying to find a way to get to him.
And the action! Wow! Just wow!
For those who have no idea what I'm talking about: trailer. Go and see it, folks. It's totally worth it! I'll be buying it on DVD for sure and I can see much re-watching in the future!
