Watching Fringe
Feb. 2nd, 2011 11:19 pmUnearthed: Why they aired this S1 ep during S2 is beyond me *shrugs* And it wasn't even all that good. I mean, yeah, it was cute how the girl fell for Peter and when she told Olivia she should make her move fast because the girl would be 18 next year. But that was pretty much it.
Brown Betty: Honestly? I ffwded through most of the episode. I get why they used it there and it was a nice experiment, but... I wanted to know more about Peter.
Northwest Passage: I honestly thought Peter was going crazy. And I felt so sorry for Walter :( But I loved the ending, when Walternate appeared in Peter's room.
Over There I+II: The alternate world was quite interesting. I loved the energy of the alt!team, how much fun they all seemed to have doing their jobs. It didn't feel as... depressing. Also, I thought it was interesting that Linc, the alt!team's leader, recognized Nick and how he... changed, suddenly he didn't want to kill them anymore.
I'm also really liking the fact that Peter's special. He had very little to do most of the series so it's great to know that it's actually all about him. I'm curious what Bell meant when he told Peter that he was surprised how well Peter was holding up. Weird... I loved the reunion of Peter and his mom.
I'm not sure what I think of alt!Olivia being in our world. But I'm curious how her relationship with Peter will turn out. I mean, Olivia finally admitted she had feelings for him, after all.
And the machine! Eep! So awesome. I need to know more.
But I'm rather confused about two things: Why did they drop the mob plotline from Peter's past without tying up the loose ends and where did that female agent from 201 and 202 disappear to? O.o
I'm done with season 2. And now I face a dilemma - do I download what's out of S3 and catch up or should I wait for the DVDs again? Decisions, decisions...
