You know what´s weird? The Greeks find Oliver Stone´s Alexander too gay and want to sue the director! O.o People really don´t know what to do with their free time. Boggles the mind...

Truly amazing....

A gay Alexander...don't know if that's historically accurate or not, but I'd love to date him...I like the big, manly, conquering hero types...I wouldn't mind being conquered by him!!

Here is a short article about the "gayness" of Alexander the Great :)

I think I like the way the woman is explaining the homosexual relationships in ancient Greece :)

As I said to Press, try this article. It´s really interesting and explains a lot about how the minds of the ancient Greeks worked:

But I still can´t understand what are the Greeks so miffed about. Alexander wasn´t even Greek! He was Macedonian *shakes her head* And even if he was a Greek... I mean, come on! The guy has been dead for more than 2000 years. I don´t think he minds :D

strange

Heh, I don´t understand it either. Gay or not, the director has the right to portray him the way he wants. It was the same with Evita Perón. And besides, the folks are long dead, I don´t think they mind :D

I know! Aren't they weird? Hellooo Greek people, do the names Ganimede and Hyacinthos mean anything to you? And let's not forget Narcissus, who was in for auto-eroticism?

Or Achilles and Patroklus. And besides, why do they blow it up so much? Nobody is saying that the movie is historically accurate. I mean, we are talking about Hollywood here! But Colin Farrel looks really good there ;)
