Watching ST:TOS

You know, I realized that because the eps are all 48 min. long, they seem just... too long. If they cut out the 8 mins., I think the eps would be much stronger and faster, not as... dragged out, I guess.
Where No Man Has Gone Before: IIRC, this episode was the first one filmed, that's why the uniforms were different - I liked them better, though - and there was no McCoy in it. Too bad that it followed Charlie X directly, the two episodes were just too similar. And the fight between the telepaths on the planet? Wow, that was some very bad acting, ouch! But I liked the darker plot: Could you kill your friend to save him from turning evil?
The Naked Time: I think that in this ep it was most noticeable that the eps were just too long. I mean, Sulu running half-naked around the ship - nice body, though *_* - or the guy singing in the engine room? So unnecessary. It felt... too long. And Kirk is in love with that Yeoman Janice Rand? Hm... I do like Janice though :)
