Tron: Legacy

katikatLoved it. Seriously. I saw it in 3D - it's MADE to be seen in 3D! - and it was awesome. Amazing. Fantastic! One thing I would've preferred? More of Tron himself, I loved the character in the old movie.
Oh, but if you want to enjoy the movie to the fullest, do watch the old Tron movie first, you'll then better understand the relationship between Flynn and Tron.
Also, I'm now kind of shipping Clu and Tron, in a very "I'll break you and make you mine!" kind of way *shifty eyes*
You know, Tron himself wasn't even that much in it, most of the time he was called... What was he called? I can't remember the name right now. But he was still frickin' awesome. He was unbeatable, exactly like the old Tron. Because Tron was and is the best. That was fantastic.
Didn't care much for Quorra, but she still kicked major ass. Loved Olivia Wilde's hair.
The CGI was top notch, I'm tellin' ya! *_*
But my favorite scene? When Flynn realized that the whatshisname was Tron after he saw the two discs, one with the blue-white rim.
Yeah, Sam didn't make that big of an impression on me, but he was still cool. Though I think that Jeff Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner carried the first movie better.
Oh, and why do I slash Tron and Clu? Clu didn't kill Tron, Flynn's best fighter, he infected him and made him HIS best fighter. Clu didn't even kill him when Tron lost Quorra. No, it took an outright betrayal for Clu to finally turn against Tron!
And I'm so glad that Tron lived, that we've seen him go dark - and then blue!
ETA: Ah, Tron's alias was RINZLER!
And now I feel like re-watching Babylon 5 because I just LOVE Bruce Boxleitner, if you didn't know. Love him! Loved him in Tron, in Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Babylon 5... \o/
Also, please, tell me I'm not the only one seeing the slashy possibilities between Clu and Tron? Tell me I'm not going crazy? XP
ETA: I'm also thinking of buying the soundtrack by Daft Punk. The music was amazing!
