I'm glad that they returned Sam's soul mid-season, that they didn't drag it out the whole season long. It was an interesting story line but at the same time, I'm glad that we are moving on.

I loved Dean as Death. I hope it'll come back to haunt him again - or at least, the fic potential is amazing! And I love Tessa, she's one of my favorite guest stars on the show. And Death itself is... creepy, yikes! But what he said to Dean was interesting, that he wanted them to keep digging and find out what's going on, that it was all about the souls. It was so funny how disgruntled Death sounded when he talked about how the Winchesters keep coming back, disrupting the natural order and making waves in way they can't even imagine. It explains how everybody seems to know about them, Dean and Sam, they seem to be a legend in their own right among the supernatural creatures. Nice!

Sam was... creepy. I mean, I understand why he did what he did - still... Killing Bobby? And what should have they done with him but return his soul now that he turned into a cold blooded killer? It was either give him his soul back or kill him. It's not like there's a prison for sociopath hunters, after all.

I'm curious when the wall that Death built in Sam's head will come down - because it will. My guess? The season finale.

No new episodes till Jan. 28th - Fringe premieres in the 9pm timeslot on Friday, Jan. 21st, I think that's why they moved SPN's premiere a week back, so that the shows wouldn't clash from the get-go. It's obvious that Fringe will hurt SPN's ratings again. Darn :(

612 promo - but I think it's a promo for more than one episode, scenes cut together like in those "Soon..." trailers.
