Am I the only one who can feel the slashy vibes in the Monte Cristo anime? I mean, I can so see Monte Cristo seducing Albert to get back on Mercedes and her husband. Albert is really taken with Monte Cristo and I doubt it that he would be able to resist a man like him. Every time Monte Cristo appears on the scene, Albert immediately falls under his charm and does anything the man wants - much to the worry of Franz. And that´s the other pairing with yaoi potential. I mean, I know that they are both engaged and stuff, but neither of them seems to be that much interested in their soon-to-be-wives but the looks Franz keeps giving Albert every time the other man behaves like bewitched by Monte Cristo... Wow! I hope that someone will write yaoi to this series - at least to the first couple of episodes since who knows where the makers will take this series. And I´m happy to see that Ani-Kraze subbed the 6th episode already. Woohoo!

And to Fullmetal Alchemist... I mean, this should be a series for kids? O.O There is more blood in it than in the Hollywood movies. I really can´t see Cartoon Network airing this series without cutting out at least half of it >.<

I´m working on the next part of Due South. Hm, the attacker is taken care of and the plot thickens. But I fear that the story will get too complicated for the readers. The assassins and political machinations... But I need this assassin sub-plot to introduce more of Trowa´s background and to pull Quatre´s family in so that I can connect the original characters in the City later. It´s getting way too complicated even for me as the creator. Even [livejournal.com profile] yami_tai laughed when I explained the plot to her. All the characters are connected with each other without actually knowing it yet. >.< COMPLICATED!!!

Monte Christo is an anime? Where how and since when? o.O I would love to see it! I love Dumas (don't ask how many times I've read 'Three Musketeers'). I did see the movie though, and I did think that Monte Christo tried to seduce Albert. >.<

You have any pics of it, or links to pages I could see?

Yep, Monte Cristo is an anime. A weird one. Imagine the plot set up in a future. The creators themselves call it a punk opera. It has the old manners, 19th century clothes but space ships and aliens too. The animation is rather weird too - very original and I really like it, but you need to get used to it.

Ani-Kraze is subbing it:

under the title: Gankutsuou.

And if you thought that there was a MC/Albert tension in the book, just wait until you see this one. :)

And this site is about the anime:

Cartoon Network is airing FMA at midnight. Hence they can get around the 'for kids' rules.
