TBBT: Mayim Bialik becomes a series regular

The Big Bang Theory made Mayim Bialik AKA Amy a series regular. And unfortunately, that's it for me...

First they made Bernardette a series regular - and I can't stand the character, her nasal, whiny voice is like fingernails on a blackboard for me, incredibly, awfully annoying. And now Amy too? Yes, she's funny - in a from-time-to-time, definitely-not-in-each-and-every-ep kind of way. She's basically Sheldon in panties :/

Also, I loved Sheldon single and asexual, that's what made him so awesome. I cheered when the producers said they would keep him that way, back then, during S1. And suddenly, he has a girlfriend? What's up with the writers and their need to pair up everybody?

With that, they lost me as a viewer. Which is unfortunate because TBBT was the only sitcom I was interested in. Oh well... *shrugs*

Did you try Community? It is great as a whole (TVTropes: the TV series), but there are eps that literally make me cry with laughter (Beginner Pottery in particular, I've seen it four times now and it still makes me howl). Second season is on at the moment.

Nope, never tried that. But many people on my flist seem to like it...
