No Duke in this one :( On the other hand, we found out more about Nathan! So, he wasn't born with this condition, something happened to him - magic. I wonder if there's a source of this magic somewhere in the woods, if maybe Haven was built on some magical source or something and that's what's changing people.

What else:
- The woman, the animal rights activist? The actress was really bad. Ouch.
- Loved the two reporters in this one.
- Emily Rose who plays Audrey actually did the skeet shooting herself and she actually hit the targets.
- The "stuffed animals" were silly - but the "stuffed people" were über-creepy! Yikes!
- Loved the way Nathan casually cut his hand to prove the stuffed man how similar they were...

In an earlier episode, when Nathan was explaining the Troubles to Audrey on a bench overlooking the water, he told her about how he could out about his condition, when he was sledding and hurt himself. I rather figured that implied he wasn't born with it but that it started with the rest of the Troubles.

Wow, when the moose showed up, I started cracking the hell up because it was so damned fake. But then when the sand started pouring from Landon's arm? So. Damned. Creepy.

Vince and Dave, the reporters, will always be awesome. <3

I loved the scene where the sand started pouring out of Landon's arm. I totally didn't expect that. I was all O.O!!!

Also, random and OT. I think the following two vids are relevant to your interests.

When you're as far through Fringe as you're going to go (or finished with season 2 altogether), you should check out this Fringe vid (http://hollywoodgrrl.livejournal.com/152623.html), unless you don't give a crap about spoilers. Like, at all. There's also the confusion factor, since this is Fringe. But it's a fabulous action-oriented vid. Set to the Black-Eyed Peas song "Boom Boom Pow."

Second is this Smallville vid (http://sisabet.livejournal.com/399774.html), set to the most appropriate Clex song ever, Lady GaGa's "Bad Romance." It incorporates scenes from Smallville, Superman Returns, the animated series, and the comic books themselves. It's just...wow. All the sources are put together beautifully, and, as I said, it's the most appropriate song for them, like, ever. Really fantastic.

Thank you! My favorite song vid for Smallville was to Tracy Chapman's song "You're the One" - I saw it years ago on a SV vid site somewhere. I mean, with lyrics like:

"Some say you're crazy
Say that you're no good
Say your family's cursed with bad blood
I think you're cute and misunderstood
And I wouldn't change you if I could"

or

"Some say you're bad
A bad bad seed
You love to play with fire you love gambling
I know what you love and I know what you need
And I like it when you play with me"

This song literally IS Clark/Lex :P

I don't have a link to it, it's been years since I saw it on the web. But I liked the song so much that it's now among my favorites. I asked about it in a SV comm so we'll see...

Oh, if you want to, you can at least listen to the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUJOLIOgEFk

Oh, that is a great song for them! Thanks!

Also, again OT (because you apparently bring that out in me, you should check out this comic (http://headtripcomics.comicgenesis.com/comics/20100816.jpg) from the awesome and geeky webcomic Head Trip (http://headtripcomics.comicgenesis.com/). It's so funny because you know it's going to be true. I would put money down on the slash fen using the Green Lantern oath for their own nefarious purposes. Plus, Batman and Superman roleplaying is hilarious.

Thank you for the links :)

And someone dug that song vid out for me and uploaded it to Rapidshare: http://community.livejournal.com/sv_inquiry/592924.html
