Hey Kati, what's the story of FMA? I've heard about it a lot on my flist but I have no idea about the actual story *g*

Full Metal Alchemist is a sort fantasy anime about two brothers, Al and Ed. After the death of their mum, the boys tried to revive her with using the alchemy. But in alchemy you have to trade something of equal worth for the thing you want. Al lost his body and Ed sacrificed his arm and leg to attach Al´s soul to an armor. They didn´t revive their mum, too. Now they are searching for the Philosph´s stone to win their old bodies back.

The anime has some funny moment, but mostly it´s really touching, angsty and full of action. It´s also one of the best anime of the last couple of years.
