katikatDay 05 - A book or series you hate:
"The Last Mortal Man" by Syne Mitchell, first in the "Deathless" series, that's the first book that comes to my mind. I have never seen so many selfish and simply stupid characters in one book. I'm all for saving the innocents, but to save one kid, the main hero was willing to let BILLIONS of people die, BILLIONS! Can you even imagine it? Several cities were simply erased from existence! Letting the whole planet die or killing one kid, that's not even a choice, for Christ's sake. She was a walking disease, killing and destroying with her mere presence. Innocent she might have been but those billions of people were innocent too! Why was her life more important than the lives of millions of other little girls out there? Just thinking of it makes the blood boil in my veins.
