Lex loved her even more for that unbreakable professionalism. Clark was now, whether he wanted it or needed it, under her protection as well. Unless he hurt Lex, in which case Lex knew that she wouldn't rest until Clark was in a thousand tiny pieces. Lex loved her for that, too.

This fic made me LOL in so many places - like when Lex compared Wonder Woman to a baboon because of her g-string costume, ha! - but it also hurt, when they had to overcome so many obstacles. I did love though, that they handled their problems in a very mature way - they actually talked.
