I have a really short attention span. I'm always on the look-out for something new and exciting, especially where TV shows are concerned. I know that a lot of my friends spend the hiatus missing their shows but I'm mostly... "Out of sight, out of mind" kind of a girl. Oh, I am still looking forward to my shows and once they are back, I'll bounce and squee again, but in the meantime, I'm trying to find something new to watch. I admire people who can stay faithful to a show even years after it ends - *smooshes
sharona1x2 and her GW obsession* - but that's just not me. Like, I still love SGA but the longer it's gone, the less interest I have in reading SGA fanfiction. One day soon, I'll stop reading it altogether. The same thing happened to me with The Sentinel. Oh well...
So, what about you and the evil hiatus, my dear flisters? Do you pine after one particular show or do you try to find greener pastures for the time being?

Date: 2010-05-28 11:46 am (UTC)One of my favorite TV shows is The Closer. Its new season starts in July. I like that it airs new episodes when most other shows are in reruns.
I'm really only in one fandom, as you mentioned. I'll read fic for Fullmetal Alchemist if someone on my flist posts it, but I don't look for other fic these days (and I rarely read fic based on live action shows). I'm trying to save some of my limited reading time for books I recently bought.
