What I've been up to these evenings?

Listening over and over and over again to the Smallville podfic "Reconcilable Differences", written by astolat and read by fayjay. Over and over again. This fic owns me. I mean, with exchanges like...

He called Tim on the bus home. "I am never going to have a normal relationship in my entire life," he said morbidly, leaning against the window, ignoring that it whacked his head every time the bus went over a pothole. "My doom is written in my genes."

"If you start telling me anything about what Lex and Clark have been doing, I'm hanging up," Tim said.

"They haven't been doing anything; Clark's, like, disappeared," Kon said. "But I'm trying to tell you, their issues go way beyond just macking on each other."

... what's there not to love? Man, this fic is cute and lovable and smooshy and... I'm seriously giddy here, folks.

Do you know Lanning's Identical Series (http://archiveofourown.org/series/897)? Its a WIP but it reads as complete after "Allience". It's epic, a retelling of the relationship from around the middle of the first series.

<3! I read it and made plans to podfic it...until I realized it had already been podficced. Oh, well. And like Pennyplainknits, I don't generally feel comfortable recording a fic someone else has done. But in this case, Fayjay did an excellent job, so no need! :D

I'm so glad that you read the sequel! I loved the scene where the girls drooled over Clark's body and Lex got this "I might smite you" look. Ha! Or when Tim mentioned that only Clark enjoyed Lex's intense attention, everybody else quivered :P

Do you plan on reading more SV stories? *paws at you pitifully*

I was so surprised when I saw that no one had read the sequel! How could they resist? And it was definitely fun to read.

As to reading more SV stories...you might want to check the various podfic comms in a couple of hours. Let's just say that there's a really good reason I haven't been posting in a couple of weeks. *innocent look*
