Man, next week's promo looks amazing, doesn't it? I can't wait to see the ep. Too bad that I can't say the same about the original flavor - lately, it feels like the whole team is just the audience to Gibbs' solo act.
It's amazing how much NCIS has let me down. The season started off so well and then it got boring with poor writing, bad characterizations, and no real direction. Did I mention it's been boring except for a few stand-out eppys it's been sorely lacking.
L.A however has steadily improved and I look forward to the last eppys!
I think that the whole plot with Gibbs and Shannon and the guy Gibbs killed is a horse beaten twice to death already. We need something new, not the same thing over and over again and dragged out ad infinitum. And it really does feel like the series turned into a Gibbs!show with the team there just for the ride. I love Gibbs to pieces but this still is an ensamble show :(
But NCIS:LA improved muchly over the season. Especially the character interaction! To me it feels like Shane Brennan, the exec producer, concentrates much more on NCIS:LA now, that's why NCIS is slipping...
