I have had enough!

I have a lot of patience with LJ, I really do. I accept that we are all human beings who make mistakes. But I have finally had enough and used no_lj_ads's advice and opted out of the outboundlink.me nonsense! Every other link that I clicked on in my LJ went through outboundlink.net, slowing down the whole web until it took several clicks and up to half a minute to load anything. WTF! Seriously!

Oh, now I get why lj slowed down that much. Why do they always implement stuff like this without telling us about it? *grrr* But thanks to you I could at least opt out now. So, thanks again.

The way to opt out is using the script set opt_exclude_stats 1 , right? I did it, I hope I did it right.

Yup, that's what I used. And LJ suddenly runs much faster and smooter, go figure!
