I want to join...

... the WhiCo Big Bang, but I have so many ideas that I don't know which one to choose...

a) AU. Peter's a homicide detective in NY. Four years ago, he investigated the murder of Kate Moreau and the attempted murder of Neal Caffrey that left the young artist blind. He never caught the killer. Now, someone attacked Neal again and Peter's allowed to re-open the case while in personal life he deals with the terminal illness of his wife Elizabeth. This story would be het and end up pre-slash.

b) AU. This one would need some world-building, being a sci-fi and set in space. Peter caught Neal the way he did on the show. But then he finds out that instead of a normal prison, they sent Neal to a penal colony. Peter realizes that there's something fishy about it. He gets Neal transferred into his custody, but while transporting him from the penal colony, someone attacks them and Peter and Neal have to figure out why. Het/gen, will remain het.

c) Future!fic. Set ten years in the future. El's dead and Peter and Neal live together in a cabin in a small town. They are lovers. Diana comes to visit Peter and in a series of flashbacks the reader finds out how Peter and Neal ended up where and what they are now. Slash.

d) AU. Peter and Neal have to find a stolen art piece - that has been cursed. Here I only have the first scene in my mind.

e) Some story set in my Non-Human fic 'verse. Don't know what yet.

f) ETA: forgot this one. June lost her young granddaughter to her illness and her only living family member now is Cindy. But Cindy joins a bad crowd and is now after her grandma's money. June's determined not to leave her one penny. So she convinces Neal to marry her and in her will, she leaves all the money to him. Cindy doesn't know that, though, and she hires someone to kill June. Now only Neal stands between her and the money. Peter to the rescue, of course! Het.

Hm, and I bet that if I join, I'll end up writing something completely different *hands*

I like the idea of Neal as an artist, but I don't want El to die :(

Hehe, I would like that story to be the start of the romance between Peter and Neal. But that's impossible with El in the picture. Also, a cop and a blind artist wouldn't have much in common if I let them stay in character. But if Peter protected Neal and Neal helped him deal with El's illness and death... I could see those two really gel over that.

Your non-human verse story ROCKED MY SOCKS! I would SO love to see Peter and Neal become lovers in that universe. :)

And also... I'm toying with something that might be WC BB suitable... whether or not I sign up for it depends on some real life things that need to settle out in the next month or so first.

Hehe, I think I will keep the 'verse gen. UST or romance would take away something... precious from their friendship, you know?

I'm honestly thinking of joining the WhiCo BB because it's only 10.000 words. If it was longer, then I wouldn't go for it :( I'm curious about your idea :)

Hehe, the thing is that in WhiCo, there's El and she's just too awesome to cut her out. So the story can be either gen between Peter and Neal and het between Peter and El, or a threesome, IMHO :P Or you would have to kill El. I just can't see Peter leaving/betraying El, that would be way OOC.
