I can now proudly present to you my finished Teen Wolf fic!

"Consequences" by me | Sciles | AU, Alpha/Beta/Omega | Scott didn't bond with Stiles before Stiles' first heat. Now his decision has consequences. | 22k words

Wow, this beastie began as a short scene that wouldn't stop bothering me till I wrote it down. And then it spawned this. Wow! I haven't written a multi-chapter fic since my Gundam Wing days! And I had so much fun writing it!

You see, at first it was simply angst for angst's sake. But then I started exploring the social issues, mainly the discrimination of Omegas in the name of survival, in a world that's slowly dying out. Where everything looks the same and people live as if nothing were happening, but the issue is there and the Omegas are the ones paying for it. And wow... suddenly, there was genetic engineering and the fight for the rights of an oppressed minority and... sheesh!

So yeah, 22k words, 190+ comments and 230 kudos later, here I am. Exhausted but feeling accomplished and satisfied like rarely before. Go me!

So, there's a Stydia drive happening over on Tumblr, tagged as stydiaweek, to promote the Stiles/Lydia pairing on Teen Wolf. You can join with fics, graphics, vids... anything. I joined with some simple graphics - hey, all I've got is PhotoFiltre! - and this tiny companion story:

He was nothing more than a plaything to her, this boy called Stiles, for Lydia was 600 years old and easily bored, and it was fun to wind him up and watch him dance, to drink his blood and confuse his mind, to set him loose and watch from afar as his Alpha came for him, cared for him and promised to keep him safe… only for Lydia to steal him again, right from underneath his Alpha’s nose, and to return him a little more broken, a little more desperate… Oh, how she loved playing with her food.

And if she maybe developed an addiction to the sweetness of his blood, to the softness of his lips and to the small, desperate noises he made when she held him down and buried her fangs into the paleness of his throat? Well… nobody needed to know.

I don't know why but since the graphics from the season finale, the picture of Lydia hiding behind pale Stiles amid the falling snow, I'm kind of obsessed with the idea of Vampire!Lydia and Human!Stiles. Fascinating!

I spawned again! I haven't felt this inspired since the early seasons of White Collar!
