Hm, rather average and forgettable. Nothing really stood out for me there, it's weird. The whole episode felt flat. The only character I really liked was the vic's wife and the revelation that Lisbon's father and possibly herself might be alcoholics. The rest... blah.

That was a revelation? I thought it was implied in the episode with the shrink.

Wow, I think this was the first Mentalist episode you didn't like! (I've only just watched the one with Cho's gang past, so no opinion yet.)

Well, maybe not the fact that Lisbon's dad was an alcoholic but that she might be having alcohol problems herself?

This episode just didn't click for me. At all. It felt lifeless, flat... I don't know why. It just lacked its usual charm...
