You know what scene I liked best? The one in my icon, this one:

It was just about perfect. Sam in withdrawal once again, Dean at the end of his rope and Castiel all worried - not about Sam, because Sam would be okay given time, but about Dean. Just, the way he was looking at Dean...

In that scene, I felt the Castiel/Dean vibes very strongly - and I'm mostly a Wincester ;) The look on Castiel's face when Dean left... Both Misha and Jensen did great job in this one. It's amazing how Jensen can portray bone deep despair just with an expression, with a posture...

For the first time since the hiatus, I actually re-watched an ep several times. Yes, last week's ep was amazing and I did watch it a couple of times, but this one? It was all that I loved about Sam and Dean and their relationship in past seasons. It's strange but my favorite eps are those where they are broken and desperate because in those, their relationship shines strongest.

And now that I'm actually madly in love with the show again, we go on a 6-week-long hiatus, of course. Of course! Hmpf!

I loved that scene, too. You could tell how much Cas was trying to help, but nothing he could say or do could make up for the pain Sam was going through, and the hurt it caused in Dean. I love how Cas is starting to understand humans more every week. I don't think he's becoming human just yet, but he's so much more sympathetic.

This seemed to break Dean more than anything else has. He knows he can't be without Sam again, but he also knows nothing he can do will help. I wonder what Dean would have done if Michael answered his call? *ponders* Only eight episodes left in season 5... *sniffles*

I liked that Same also resisted and did not eat the demons offered by Famine.

You know, it had never occured to me that anyone would complain about Dean "angstying again" so it was quite a shock to me that there're apparently people who did. I thought those two scenes were extremely well done, not too OTT and both Misha and Jensen were awesome. And yep, can't wait to see what Castiel's reaction will be like if Dean said yes to Michael!
