Casting spoiler for White Collar \o/

Look who's becoming a series regular on White Collar next season!!!

Marsha Thomason’s lesbian agent on White Collar will be getting a much heavier workload in season 2.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that the former Las Vegas and Lost star has been upgraded to a full-fledged series regular on the USA Network smash.

Thomason’s character, junior FBI agent Diana Lancing, turned up in the White Collar pilot, but hasn’t been seen or heard from since. I’m told she’ll reappear in the season 1 finale on March 9 and then return full-time in season 2.

OMG! I was so so so sad when she apparently wasn't going to be in the regular series (it actually put me off a little bit off of watching White Collar 'cause it seemed like a drop the lesbian agent so you can have someone for Neal to flirt with -besides Peter and Elizabeth ;)-) AND NOW SHE'S BACK! YAY!

I was sad when they dropped her but I'm glad that they decided not to go with UST between Cruz and Neal. I mean, Neal flirts with everybody but I'm just glad that they didn't force chemistry where there was none.

I read that they didn't drop her (or didn't choose to drop her), but that she had other obligations by the time the pilot was picked up.

That's too bad. But at least now she's coming back. I just wonder why Jeff Eastin didn't say it outright - many people kept asking where Diana disappeared to. But I'm so glad that she's back. I wonder how they'll explain her absence and what will bring her back.

And I also wonder if this season will end with a cliffhanger similar to the first half of it. That would kill me!

You know, I mentioned at one point that (mainly because I don't like her *g*) I think Cruz is working for the man with the ring. I would so love to see that be true, and Diana make a triumphant return to take her rightful place on the team.

Hehe, I don't think that she's working for the Man with the Ring and I have to admit that now that they toned down her self-righteous way of talking to Neal, I like her much better.
