A-Team!

So, I've been talking about the new A-Team movie with yami_tai - trailer. I wasn't sure if I would go and see it in the theater in June but after seeing the trailer, I definitely will. I think that the fact that the movie doesn't look anything like the old show helps, it's a cheesy action flick, it's missing the charm of the old show.

And the movie also got us talking about the series. My favorite character was Murdock, crazy but caring and so incredibly funny. And Dwight Schulz stole the show every time he appeared on-screen. But who was your favorite character?

And does someone on my flist read A-Team fanfiction? Do you have any recs? Gen or slash preferred!

I'm curious, did you watch the show in English or was it dubbed? Cause here it was in French and to me Face will always be Futé (which, in French, the nickname talks about his cleverness as opposed to his pretty face).

I used to read TAT, yes (even belonged to an A-Team mailing list, back when mailing lists were pretty much the only places where to talk with other group of fans) but it's been ages since I did and I'm afraid I forgot about those I read, sorry! What I remember is that Face was usually the one being hurt (poor guy just never got a break). Hmm, now you make me want to read those fics again!

As a kid, I always loved B.A. He was bad-ass, and the fact that he was afraid of flying was absolutely hilarious to me.

I just watched the trailer and wow. I wasn't too sure about an A-Team movie at first, but this one looks like it could be awesome.

I watched it both in German and in Czech, never in English :P And in those dubs, they kept calling him Face, IIRC.

I would prefer stories where Murdock was hurt! One of my favorite eps was the one where he was shot and they were hiding the mine. Although the one where Face was shot in the restaurant was great too!

I loved how he cared for Murdock. Yeah, he drove BA up the wall but when Murdock was shot that one time, BA went crazy!

I wasn't so sure about the movie either but when I see it as something original, completely disconnected from the show, it looks great.

And another Murdock fan! Awesome!
