"Eight Sessions" by speranza. Fraser/RayK slash. Summary: Four bodybags—five—six—goddamn, this was a bloodbath. Length: 33.000 words.

"Uh-huh," Dr. Berger said warily. "And you know a lot about wolves, do you?"

"Oh yes. I've lived with one for five years now. In fact, it could be reasonably said that I know wolves better than I know people. And I suspect Dr. Freud didn't know very many wolves at all." Fraser frowned, considering this. "Or else the wolves of his acquaintance were very neurotic personalities indeed."

I really love the POVs of both psychiatrists!

There's also a podfic version - but I have to say that I had hard time understanding it. It's read by two girls. The recording of the one is terribly muffled and the other girl has a very strong accent and she almost whispers and rasps often. Maybe it's different for a native English speaker but there were places where I just didn't understand what they were saying :(

That story completely changed the way I looked at fanfiction. Before somehow stumbling over a link to it, I basically had no standards, but that story made me realize that you could take these interesting characters and not just write stories about them, but make them real.

It's just amazing how she... gets the characters. She understands them so thoroughly!
